Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. I am also a core faculty member and Director of Biomechanics at the Cleveland Clinic's Cardiovascular Innovation Research Center. My research group combines soft robotics, 3D printing, biosensing, and computational tools to build advanced physical and digital biomechanical models of disease.

• It was an honor to participate as faculty at the 8th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit, Innovations in Heart Valve Reconstruction: A Master Class and deliver a tutorial lecture on Patient-specific benchtop and computational modeling in guiding repair or replacement options. • It was great fun speaking at the Mechanical Engineering Seminar of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, on using mechanical engineering principles to design soft robots for bioengineering applications.
